Air bag, also called discharge air bag,it is installed in the discharge line of a fluid end, and played a role to ensure good steady pressure and pressure compensation . Its working pressure is 80% of mud pump working pressure. F500/F800 mud use KB45 air bag, F1000/F1300/F1600 use KB75 air bag. Notably, when removable air bag, you must relief first .
The maintenance of the air bag
(1).Air bag inflator pressure is 30% of designed pump pressure, the general pressure is 4~6MPa , the best pressure is 4.5MPa
(2) .Mud pump at the normal working hours, the air bag cutoff valve is closed to protect gauges
